Rolston Offshore - Conceptual design

All too often, vessels have problems which were not identified by the naval architects, which result in the vessel not being 100% suited for the job expected.

Sometimes the naval architect simply does not seem to understand or does not want to listen to the client’s suggestions.

By combining a passion for design along with hands on experience of vessel operation, we are ideally suited for putting together conceptual designs for various types of vessel, which includes client’s input.

Conceptual design

The background drawings shown in this website are conceptual drawings carried out for the owner of a part completed SWATH Casino in the US.

The conceptual design for the new vessel to be known as a MSS (Mobile Semi Submersible) included roles as DP accommodation vessel, work and maintenance vessel, light weight well intervention, and offshore heliport.

Currently we are assisting with some design modifications for a DP accommodation barge.
